"End of the Rainbow"

Hay River Marine Rescue Unit Routine Training Night

End of the Rainbow
End of the Rainbow

Hay River Marine Rescue Unit was on a routine training night July 21, 2009 on Great Slave Lake. After a beautiful day of 30 degrees we had an early evening thunder shower pass through the area.

We were to make a patrol East of Hay River and when we got to the lake the dark black skies is what we saw in the East. We changed our training location to go West where the skies were much friendlier.
Two vessels on the water Zodiac 2 and the Guardian. The attached photo is a photo taken through the window off the bow of the Guardian.

Crew of 2 on the Zodiac - Jason COAKWELL and Roy WALTERS.

Crew of 4 on the Guardian - Mike CARTER, Murray GORDON, John HILL and Rod GRAY.
