CCG / CCGA SAR Instructor Course

Every two years or so, the SAR partners put together an Instructor Training course which encompasses Auxiliary members from the entire Region.  This is one of the very rare opportunities for our people to connect, for an extended period, with like minded members from across Central & Arctic.

The course begins on a Friday afternoon and concludes late on Sunday afternoon.  The course of study is quite intense and the participants find themselves under a great deal of pressure when preparing for and presenting their lessons.  It is always interesting to see the class cohesion unfold in the first few hours.

The diverse backgrounds of the participants and the talents which exist within the CCGA ranks is quite impressive.  All the course leaders state that it is a pleasure to work with such dedicated volunteers.  Again, a big “thank you” for your time and efforts.
