Righting System Bulletin's & TC COMMUNICATION

You will find attached a Safety Communication from the Transportation Safety Board and 2 technical bulletins regarding RHI with righting systems..

The purpose of TSBs Safety Communications is to ensure that identified risks are communicated to those best able to effect change and take remedial action.

In this case, if you have vessels equipped with similar Self-Righting Systems, due diligence would require that the systems be inspected.

ALL UNIT LEADERS WITHIN CCGA C&A THAT OPERATE ONE OF THESE RHIBS MUST CONTACT THE CCGA C&A OFFICE IMMEDIATELY.  THE OFFICE INCONJUNCTION WITH CCG WE WILL HELP YOU WITH PLANNING YOUR INSPECTION PROCESS BASED ON YOUR AREA OF OPERATION.
