Personnel Access Settings

The access settings contained within the personnel record are designed to afford Unit Officers with the ability to control which members are allowed to perform various tasks.

Each setting controls access to various functions/forms within the system.

Important
A member´s access must be set correctly or they may not be allowed by the system to perform their duties. For example: if a coxswain needs to report the completion of a SAR mission but does not have the access flag "Submit Incident Reports" set to "Yes" then they will not be able to do so. It is the responsibility of those managing the unit (ie: The Unit Leader) to ensure that all personnel have the appropriate access for their role within the unit.

If a member has been granted the correct access in their personnel record, and they have a user account linked to it but still can´t access the system - then it is likely their site security is not set correctly and a site administrator will need to correct that.
