The user field contains the user database ID that relates to this person (assuming they are a member of the web site)

Use the select button next to the field to search for the user. IF the correct user is found - click the button next to their name and the system will automatically enter the correct ID in the user box. Once a SAR person is linked to their user record in this manner that person will have access to their log and personell overview report - it is therefore a very important step to link the personell record and user id in this manner.

If this person dosen´t have a userid on the web site then enter their name in the box to the right and leave the User ID field blank.

People can not access their records without a valid site login - in a member has not signed up on the site, encourage them to do so and then update the UserID record with their system id as indicated above.
