The time credits defined as part of a course type control how much time is applied to each participant and instructor of the course. Each field specifies an amount of time (in hours) that will be added to the log of each person specified on the course form based on their role in the course.

Assistants and Instructors are assigned the times specified in the "Instructor Time Credit Section" and all others are assigned the times specified in the "Participant Time Credit" section.

If the course type has been configured to allow time overrides this times form the default settings but can be adjusted when the course form is submitted, otherwise these times are the actual amount of time that will be applied in each time category.

Unlike most other forms in the system the date range of the course is not used to calculate any time associated with the course. The only time calculations are based on the amounts entered here.
