When defining a course type, in most cases fixed time will be assigned to the various activities associated with the course. These times will be credited to participants and instructors listed on the course form.

This setting identifies if the actual times can be adjusted when the course form is entered in the system. If set to prohibit then the times specified in the type are credited and there is no opportunity to make any time adjustments when filling out for form.

If the setting is allow then when the course form is entered the default times can be adjusted specific to this particular course.
