CCGA Wins 2008 Communicator Award of Distinction
The "Missing Fisherman" video produced by the CCGA with the help of TOWARF in Oakville was presented with an Award of Distinction at the 15th Annual Communicator Award Competition.
The Award of Distinction is presented for projects that exceed industry standards in quality and achievement. It is sanctioned and judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts. The Communicator Awards received over 9,000 entries from companies and agencies of all sizes, making it one of the largest awards of its kind in the world.
CCGA Wins Videographer Awards of Excellence and Distinction
The "2008 Public Service Announcements" produced by the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary were presented with an Award of Excellence at the 2009 Videographer Award Competition. During the same competition, the CCGA was also presented with an Award of Distinction for the "Missing Fisherman" documentary.
