Donation to Point SAR unit

As Submitted by Irene Jardine:
On July 17th, 2008 the P&A and Basic Chemicals Safe Team organized an evening river cruise on the Duc DOrleans. Each year the Safe Team chooses a local organization which benefits the Sarnia Lambton community to donate the proceeds of the event too.

Prior to departure an OBS safety presentation was given by Irene Jardine, following which Jim Snyder, Safety Advisor for P&A and Basic Chemicals at the Sarnia Imperial Oil site recognized the new CCGA SAR unit covering lower Lake Huron and the St Clair River PointSAR. Jamie Kerwin unit leader and crew members were in attendance with their vessel a Zodiac 590 Hurricane.
