Quinte Search & Rescue Attends Belleville´s Santa Clause Parade

Belleville´s 10th annual Santa Clause Parade and QSAR´s second

Quinte Search and Rescue joined Santa as he rolled through Belleville as thousands came out to line the sidewalks. Friday November 14, 2008 was Belleville´s tenth annual night time Santa Clause Parade and Quinte Rescue´s second.

The light rain did not dampen the spirit of this great annual tradition. Mild temperatures allowed thousands of parade goers to line the route and witness the magic of thousands of lights, and great holiday tunes.

The floats assemble on the grounds of Quinte Secondary School and the parade began at 17:00hrs sharp. Peter Windfeld´s QSAR 3 was decorated for Christmas and drawn by Ray LaRue´s amazing rescue truck. Volunteers from Quinte Search and Rescue walked along side handing out candies to the children lining the route.

It was incredible to watch the crowd´s faces light up when they saw Ray´s truck rolling down the street.
