This date/time field consists of two parts. First an identifier as to the method that the SAR unit was alerted:

• Paged - typical: paged by JRCC
• VHF/Cell underway - Already underway (training, other incident etc) and received phone or VHF radio call.
• Sighted/Self - Witnessed the situation or monitored VHF comms indicating the incident.

Followed by the date and time at which the alert occured.
