A SAR Authorization level corresponds to a administrator defined sign-off point in the authorization process. These typically relate to a person (or group of people) who need to review and sign-off a report or request before it can proceed on to the next group.

A pre-defined workflow of authorization levels is set for each type of report and request in the SAR system in the site options. Requests and reports then follow that workflow until the last authorization level has completed their signoff (using the authorization form) and the report/request is closed by the system
