When using the new person Wizard to create personnel records in the SMS the desired outcome will typically be to have the new user account that is created automatically assigned a particular security profile. This option allows the site administrator to select which security profile is assigned automatically to new user accounts when they are created via the wizard.

If a user account has already been created the security settings assigned to it are not changed. Only accounts that are automatically created by the wizard are assigned this security.
