Training levels are used in the SMS to record and track the standards of training within the organization. Each level is made up of many items and can include require certifications.

As the individual items are signed-off in a persons log the level becomes closer to being complete. Once all the required items have been completed the level itself can be assigned to the person.

From that point on if there are certs associated with the level the system will monitor to see if any of those certs have expired and notify the appropriate people if they should.

Each persons training levels are displayed on their profile page and the highest level attained may impact their ability to sign-off other members items based on system settings.

The levels attained and items still required also impact some reports and how the system tries to suggest training in training plans.
