Vessel equipment is predefined by administrators grouped into types and individual vessels can specify a quantity for each item. Items not carried on the vessel or not applicable should be left at a quantity of 0.

Some pieces of equipment include a field for additional reference data. In those cases a label; specifying what information is requested will be displayed along with a field to enter that data.
