Units form the base level of organization within the system. All assets and personnel belong to a unit and units in turn are a part of a region and a zone.

The Unit record contains all the data identifying the unit, it´s location, structure, and contact information as well as notification email addresses and training hours allotment.

The ability to edit unit data is restricted to users that have May Manage Unit security and/or administrative privileges.
