The training gap report is used to help plan training sessions based on the current requirements of the people in a unit.

The system looks at all personnel at the level selected and collects lists of which training items they are lacking to complete the level. Those items are then presented either by person (what items each person still required) or by item (the number of people who all require each item)

The report can then be further filtered to provide a detail list of people requiring the selected items in one of two manners:

1) Select a group of items and the report will detail for each items those personnel that require it. This could be the people to invite to a training session covering those items.

2) Select a group of people and the report will detail all training items that are lacking for all those people (the intersection of missing items) This is best used when you have a session planned with specific people and wish to know what it would be best to cover to best benefit all the attendees.
