Activity types define the content, work-flow, and specifics for each different general classification of activity to be tracked in the system. Activities can be thought of as anything that should be reported that does not fit into one of the preformatted reporting forms (Incidents, Training Exercises, Classroom Sessions)

eg: Meetings, Maintenance, R&D etc...

Activities may be approved through their workflow, may require an approved request, and may include reimbursement.
