The SAR Management System (SMS) is a full function tracking database module for Marine Search and Rescue. It has the capability to track an unlimited number of Regions, Zones, and Units within which are captured vessels and personnel.

Once the supporting background data such as Units, their vessels (including vessel equipment and configuration) has been captured the system can be used to process requests and reports centering on training and missions across the region. Throughout the process a history and authorization process ensures that reports/requests are approved and records are maintained. At the same time individual personnel logs are created automatically to provide metrics for individual member reporting.

Many reports are available from the regional all the way down to the individual personnel member tracking everything from SAR missions and training hours to outside achievements.

The SAR system is linked to the base site security and can provide some reports off-site based on security key access.

For help with specific areas of the system view the associated topic. Several walk-through tutorials are available for typical tasks.
