District Four Training and District Meeting

District Four Training and District Meeting

30 Members of the CCGA in the District attended a training session on the weekend of April 10 / 11.  This number represents 98% of those expected.  Considering that no shows at these courses is often a serious issue, the District 4 people have set a new standard.

The training began on Friday evening with a two hour review of piloting skills.  This was followed with the SAR Training course on Saturday and Sunday.  Saturday evening saw everyone return to the training room for a one hour presentation / refresher on the SAR Management System.

Following Sunday Brunch, a District meeting was held.  President Gary attended Sunday morning and met with our members.

The number attending this event represents about 30% of the total District membership.  All our District Instructors had an opportunity to refresh their skills and everyone successfully passed the course!

The event was held at the Cranberry Resort In Collingwood.

Don Limoges
Director, District 4
